Academic Achievement

• Applicants must have at least three years of university education before applying

• Pre-reqs include: One full year of biochemistry, one full year of physiology, two addition full year courses in Life Science, and one full year course in Humanites or Social Science

• Minimum grade point average of 3.0 is required but selected applicants for an interview had an average GPA of 3.85

• Worst year will be dropped from calcualtion of cGPA if applicant has completed four or more years of university educationb y May 21st of proposed year of entry

  • Will apply as long as the year with lowest grade is not the applicant's last year of study.

Dental Aptitude Record (DAT)

• An overall academic average of 21 is considered competitive

• Manual Dexterity section does not have to be completed 

• DAT must have been completed within two calendar years prior to applicationd eadline

Interview

• Selected applicants will be invited to an interview by the end of February 2015 which will be held in late March and early April

• Interview will be comprised of two members of Faculty of Dentistry or alumni
