Admission to McMaster University is based on academic ability and personal qualities, as evidenced by:

Academic Record
- Applicants must have completed a minimum of three years of undergraduate education
- No requirement that applicants carry a full course load
- Minimum of 3.0 of 4.0 GPA but average .
Medical College Admission Tests
- Must have been taken five years prior to application deadlin and a minimum score of 6 on Verbal Reasoning component is required
- No other sections are considered
CASPer
Reference Letter
- McMaster requires three letters of reference, called Confidental Assessments.
Interview
- Approximately 550 applicants will be invited for an interview in March or April 2016
- Based on composite score which weights the GPA from the Academic Assessment, MCAT Verbal Reasoning, and score from CASPer
- MMI format
